SAILORS CAN PLAY GOLF!
Tin Cup Golf Tournament held at the Nine Hole Marina Course.  This course is next to the Tony Lema 18 hole golf course.  These courses are a few hundred yards south of the Yacht Club.  Tournament tee time at 1430, please be on time.   Driving range and club house at the Tony Lema course.  Green fees $35 includes a golf cart and $5 toward lunch or a golf prize.  The green fees (not the club rental) have been paid by SYC so please fill out a SYC chit for $35.  Balls, tees, club rentals $7.50, etc. at the club house.  Do not include the $7.50 club rental on the chit.  Ron will give you a Tin Cup score sheet with tournament instructions.  We will use the Scramble system where the foursome moves to the fairway location of the best ball in the foursome.  However, when you get to the green, you are on your own and you need to keep track of your own putts.  The foursome moves their balls to the green as soon as the first person in their group hits the green.  Tin Cup prizes awarded at the Club at dinner.  Remember to keep your head down and your socks up.
