We provide a junior training program, open to all members of the community between the ages of 9 and 14.

• Classes are held on Saturday mornings. Please download the schedule using the link above.
• Beginner classes start at 9:00 AM  for two hours. Intermediate classes begin at 11:15 AM and end before 1:30 p.m..
• Students are required to wear a PFD (Life Jacket) whenever they are on the docks, over, or near the water, or in any boat.

• The fee for the 10 week session is $125.00.   This includes Berry's Basic Sailing instruction book, the use of an El Toro, a US Sailing Level One Log Book with sign-off, and a Youth Membership in the Sequoia Yacht Club for one year.

CLASS DATES ARE CONTINGENT UPON SUITABLE SAILING CONDITIONS

If too windy or rainy to sail safely, class may be rescheduled to another Saturday.  Parents should not assume class will be cancelled because weather is bad at your house.  Our staff makes the determination at the Launch Ramp at 9:00 a.m.!  

PLEASE: Enroll in the course only if you intend to make attendance a top priority. (The kids who don't get in would surely be sad to hear that they lost out to a kid who "had a game" every other lesson.)
