Sequoia Yacht Club
Membership Information

Last Updated: 08/16/06

Welcome to our Web page and thanks for inquiring about membership in the Sequoia Yacht Club. We were founded in 1939, and have been active in boating for 59 years. SYC is a member of the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association (with reciprocal privileges at the other member clubs), and is affiliated with US Sailing, the Yacht Racing Association of San Francisco Bay, SBYRA, as well as with other racing and cruising organizations.

We have an active cruising fleet, both small and large boat racing, an award-winning junior sailing program, and a variety of social events. Our comfortable facility, with guest berthing, is located at the Port of Redwood City and is accessible to members 24 hours a day.

We invite you to visit our Club during the weekends, when we have an Officer of the Day to host you. Or join us for a drop-in dinner on most Friday nights at 6:30 pm, when the Club provides BBQ-your-own steak, chicken, or fish, along with a salad bar, for $10.00 or less.
