Where is the Calendar?

The calendar can be found on the Events tab along the top of each web page. 

Why can't I login? What's my account?

Your account should be set up as your "FirstName LastName", as it is listed in the membership directory.  In some cases, we used your common name (for example, "Steve Holmstrom" instead of "Steven Holmstrom"). Accounts are set up for the primary member only, unless the secondary member has a specific role within the SYC community (e.g., Social Chair, Board Member, House Manger). If that is the case, the secondary member will have their own account as well.

Your password and login information has been mailed to the email address listed in the membership directory.

If you can't log in with your account, please contact the webmeisters, and we will verify your account.

What's my password? I can't remember my password.

If you can't remember your password, go to the reset password page. At the input field, please enter your account name, as described above.  An email will be sent to your email account.  This is the email address that is listed in the SYC membership directory.  Please check that email inbox for a one time use link to change your password.

If you do not receive the email within 10 minutes, then it is likely that the email address in the directory is not correct.  please contact the webmeisters with the correct email address, and we will verify and update your web account profile for you.

Where can I find the Sequoia Scope?

The Sequoia Scope is available via the Sequoia Scope menu block on the left hand side of the web page.

Why can't I open Adobe PDF files from the SYC site?

This should have been fixed as of 12 Nov, 2008.  If you are still experiencing issues with opening PDF files from the SYC site, please contact the webmeisters. If you have problems opening PDF files in general, please visit the Adobe Reader Support Forum.
