The class includes three classroom sessions (Mondays): April 24, May 1, and May 8, plus three on the water sessions on sailboats in a friendly race (Wednesdays): April 26, May 3, and May 10.
The cost of $60 includes the American Sailing Association textbook “Sailing Made Easy.” Class size will be limited to 12 persons for the on-the-water sessions.
After completing the course students should be comfortable in seeking and accepting beginning crew positions. Students who complete the class are encouraged to participate in the Sequoia Yacht Club Sunset Series 2022.
