Moonlight Marathon Sailing Instructions

The Moonlight Marathon is one of the year's most anticipated races. Once memorably described as "hanging on for dear life on the way up, praying for wind on the way back", the 2016 the Moonlight Marathon takes us from Redwood City around Treasure Island and back - a total of about 40 miles.

Remember that much of the race takes place at night, so working boat lights, VHF and other safety equipment is essential. Dress up warm, and enjoy the moonlight.
